For my passion project, I have decided to start to run. My goal by the end of the semester is to be able to run 10 kilometers. I have not ran for a long time as I mainly train at the gym to keep fit. I am excited to start a new form of training in addition to my regular routine. I will be tracking my runs through a running app on my phone. I will also track my progress through this form. I am going to additionally take into consideration my meals before and after my runs to get optimal results in my goal. In the future I hope to join a running competition between 5 and 10 kilometers, so I am excited to start my journey. I have never done anything like this before, I have been very sportive my whole life, playing hockey, swimming, basketball, volleyball, soccer etc. however I have never been competitive or serious about running and individual sports. I am excited to have the opportunity to better myself as a runner, take on this new challenge and see how running can relieve stress and contribute to mental health.
