Today at the gym I did a cardio day. I worked on HIIT training on the elliptical. I have a bad shoulder from when I used to play Ice hockey. I dislocated my shoulder after taking a bad fall and pulling my shoulder out of the socket. I have noticed that doing my cardio training on a treadmill has aggravated my shoulder. I have started using the elliptical more and it has been great. I feel like I am getting a similar workout which is awesome as well. Over the past two weeks, I have taken a step back from weight training and have focused more on cardio training. I am feeling great with my change. I am still weight training because I really enjoy it and feel like it makes my body feel physically exhausted which I love. However, I am learning different techniques to love cardio training as well. I have noticed that when I am walking places, taking the stairs etc. I feel less tired and can take on much more in my day. Today I did 2 minute sprints and 1 minute walk on the elliptical for 30 minutes. I ended my workout with some ab training and a cool down on the treadmill, which consisted of walking.
